Independent rankings, open rules
futbolfutbol is an independent football-analysis project. RPIX is designed to make player comparisons inspectable: the method, weights, data dates and confidence are shown instead of hidden behind a verdict.
How rankings are produced
RPIX combines playing level, position-specific match performance, market context and prospect for young players. National-team selection never adds points. A player is left unranked when a required input cannot be confirmed, when he has too few league minutes, or when current club data is unavailable.
Sources and review
Player profiles, playing time, market context and match statistics are collected from the sources linked on each profile. Transfermarkt is the principal profile source; ESPN is used for cross-checks and national-team fixtures. Source disagreements are marked or investigated, never silently guessed.
Corrections and versioning
The active RPIX version appears with the ranking. Method changes are recorded on the Rules page. Data corrections update the affected profiles and their dates. Anyone can challenge a number or rule and provide evidence; accepted corrections can credit the contributor by name.
What AI does—and does not do
Artificial intelligence may help review data and provide a separately labelled second opinion called Nimble AI. It does not choose inputs, set weights, change a score or decide a ranking position. RPIX is calculated from the published rules.
Independence
futbolfutbol is not affiliated with a club, federation, Transfermarkt, ESPN or another data provider. Rankings are experimental analysis, not scouting instructions or official selection decisions.
